Overview

The local delivery service benefits mail users in country areas. It provides them with lower postage prices for letters that they lodge over the counter at the office of delivery.

To be eligible for local delivery prices a sender must:

• reside or carry on business in a postcode area serviced by the office of delivery
• reside or carry on business in a postcode area that adjoins any of these postcode areas
• The local delivery letter service operates only in the postcodes shown below.

Conditions

• At least 50 letters, or 10 in a small community (fewer than 1000 delivery points)
• Lodged over the counter of the Post Office of delivery
• The same sender's address in the local postcode area on the outside of each envelope

All prices listed are valid from 15 September 2008 and include GST.
