1Customers are required to meter international mail at 10% above the normal published rates to offset the GST input tax credits you may be able to claim for this postage.
2Effective 20 July 2009, Australia Post withdraw the option to pay for Registered Post using your postage meter. Effective this date, you must purchase prepaid Registered Post labels from a postal outlet in singles or bulk purchase of 50. If you purchase in bulk (box of 50) the price of each label is discounted from $2.80 to $2.30 based on 6 July 2009 Australia Post rates.
However you can choose to use your postage meter for Registered Post Options (including Person-to-Person and Delivery Confirmation).
Registered Post Options (including Person-to-Person and Delivery Confirmation) may be paid for using a postage meter or franking machine. Registered Post prepaid labels can not be purchased using a postage meter or franking machine.
