Overview
The Barcode Quality Program (BQP) offers a Barcode Print Statement of Capability to test that barcodes printed for specified printer/font combinations meet Australia Post's acceptance criteria.
The readability of a barcode can be altered by factors such as the nature of the substrate, printing skew, ink type, barcode position error, printer speed and settings, or equipment condition. The Statement of Capability therefore relates only to the sample that has been provided.
Passing the Barcode Print Statement of Capability testing does not guarantee that letters generated by specific printer/font configurations will be accepted at lodgement.
