The Post Guide folder consists of:

• Letter Post & Electronic Mail within Australia Post Guide
• International Post Guide
• Dangerous & Prohibited Goods & Packaging Post Guide
• Parcels within Australia Post Guide
• General Post Guide, and
• Post Charges Booklet.

The Post Guides contain the guidelines of the Australian Postal Corporation regarding the provision of postal services within Australia.  These guides are published periodically.

Under the Australian Postal Corporation Act 1989, the Board of the Australian Postal Corporation determines the terms and conditions that apply to the provision of postal services within Australia.  The terms and conditions are contained in the Australia Post Terms and Conditions (APTC) and Determination of Postage Charges (Rates Determination).

Although Australia Post makes every effort to ensure accuracy at the time of publication, the information in the Post Guides may be revised at any time and services may be modified, added to or withdrawn.  Australia Post shall not be liable to any person, whether a purchaser of the Post Guides or not, for any loss or damage of any kind whatsoever arising from any errors or omissions in the Post Guides or from reliance placed upon all or any part of the contents of the Post Guides.

To order copies of the Post Guides, please complete and fax back the attached order form.  The initial subscription for Post Guides (includes Guide Folder, current issues and revisions/ amendments) costs $50 for that year eg. 2004.  Each November, renewal notices for the Post Guide service will be issued for an annual subscription fee of $20.
