What is Acquisition Mail?

Australia Post are currently trialling an addressed (non-personalised) bulk mail delivery service, which allows you to send mail items to residential address points in specific postcodes, suburbs or even precise Census Collection Districts (CCDs) for the purpose of acquiring them as new customers.

Acquisition Mail allows you to specifically target only prospective customers in geographic catchment areas, as you can exclude existing customers' addresses from your campaign.

Acquisition Mail is a reduced price PreSort Off Peak service that includes the supply of residential street addresses for nominated geographic target regions.  Address points with 'No Advertising Mail' signs or those that have a resident registered on the Australian Direct Marketing Associations  'Do Not Mail' list are excluded from the address list supplied, unless specifically requested by you in the registration process.

The Acquisition Mail Commercial pre-launch service is available from 1 July 2007.
