Check out these interesting places you can write to. 

 

  • Write to a local government representative for information about local activities (eg school holiday programs, animal and dog pound details, library activities, etc).
  • Write to apply for a part-time or holiday job.
  • Write to a penpal. If you haven’t already got a penpal, you could join the International Penpals association (http://members.ozemail.com.au/~penpals/).
  • Write for information to help you research an assignment or area you are interested in.
  • Write to someone you admire (eg pop star, TV personality, favourite author, sporting personality etc).
  • Write to a family member you haven't spoken to for a while.
  • Write to offer your services to help out in the local community (hospital visits, visiting elderly people, helping in parks and gardens, cleaning up your town or city, etc).
