You can make a letter look cool and exciting by using paper with interesting designs, colours and shapes.

Remember that your paper must fit into the correct sized envelope, so that your letter can be delivered quickly and cheaply. A small sized envelope should be no larger than 240 mm width and 130 mm height.

Use these great ideas to make your letters more creative.

Creative paper

The paper you write your letter on can help to tell the story or set the mood of your letter. Try these ideas.

Design your own letterhead

Most businesses have a specially designed letterhead that they use when writing their letters. You can too!

Please remember

When your letter is ready to post, make sure it is not too thick and not too heavy.

Never put any little surprises (like pieces of plastic or metal, sharp objects, or glass items) in the envelope with your letter. These could make a mess, or worse, they could break or be dangerous to someone.
