Letter Writing Interactive |

As a paper-based communication business, Australia Post has a natural interest in the promotion of literacy and education.  Education, especially literacy, computer literacy and numeracy underpins a healthy and vibrant society.

By working with National Literacy & Numeracy Week, Australia Post aims to encourage children to get involved in development opportunities to enhance their skills. Informing children using stamps and books, and providing colourful and entertaining educational resources that highlight the value of the written word are intrinsic to Australia Post's community program.

National Literacy and Numeracy Week, which takes place in September, encourages schools to participate with activities highlighting the importance of literacy and numeracy.

Australia Post has been a proud sponsor of this program since its inception in 1999. For more information visit www.literacyandnumeracy.gov.au

It is an easy guide to writing personal and business letters with step-by-step prompts and letter samples. There are also over 20 different letterhead designs for students to download in colour and black and white. Teachers can use the Letter Writing Interactive as a learning tool in the classroom or children can enjoy it in their own time.
