The franchise model at a glance
- Franchise fees are generally between $250,000- $900,000 (ex GST).
- 10 year term with exit payment on expiration.
- 4-5 months start up time (unpaid) including comprehensive training*.
- Shared risks and benefits to both parties.
- Franchises are available in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and West Australia.
- Franchisee costs include franchise service fee and technology levy, all labour and related costs, utility charges, cleaning, consumables, shrinkage and business services (legal, accounting).
- Australia Post covers rent, property management and maintenance, fixtures and fittings, cash collection charges, advertising and promotional materials, fit out and equipment (including software licences) and electronic point-of-sale technology costs.
- Typical trading hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
9am to 12 noon Saturday.
