Further evidence of the success of Post’s “Gold Post 2000” program, Australia’s first integrated workplace health promotion and attendance improvement program, came with the Washington-based Corporate Leadership Council including it
as a “best in class” example to share with member companies.
The program significantly lifted employee attendance. Attendance rose to 94.4 per cent for 2000–2001 compared with 93.8 per cent for 1999–2000. Some mail centres have integrated the program with injury prevention and attendance management strategies to achieve further results.
