Post continues to create a safe and secure work environment for employees. While the Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate remained steady, the incidence of all work-related injuries reduced by six per cent. Post maintained its successful rehabilitation and return to work program. We also continued to introduce workplace safety initiatives, such as the B-Safe behavioural safety program. Injury prevention and management is integrated into our mainstream business through:
  • injury prevention – a planned and systemic approach to injury reduction;

  • pre-claim injury management – an early intervention program providing assessment and medical management of illness and injury where a work relationship is indicated;

  • post-claim rehabilitation and return to work services – enabling injured or ill employees to remain at work or return to work in a timely and safe manner; and

  • post-claim workers’ compensation claims management – accurate, timely and equitable delivery of compensation to employees.
