These applications, delivered through Post’s Intranet, aim at giving all Post employees, from executive managers to casual staff, access to the “people information” they need to perform their roles effectively. In the coming year there will be a focus on employee self service (for example, through information available on the Intranet); e-training and development; the use of PeopleMap data mining and analysis tools to ensure Post has high quality staff to match work requirements; and the introduction of online staff surveys and chat rooms.
Post HR will also focus on internal and external performance benchmarking and predictive workforce planning so Post has the right people at the right time in the right jobs.
