Post’s Customer Contact Centres are communicating with an unprecedented number of customers. This relieves pressure on PostShops and other outlets, supports new services and contributes to customer retention. Customer contacts rose to 1.45 million (1.2 million previously).

Our centres, which incorporate Post Direct operations and business customer account support, receive customer inquiries by mail, phone, fax and e-mail.

Inquiries are met with the same accurate, informed answers. Central phone numbers – 13 13 18 for general enquiries and 13 11 18 for business enquiries – now apply in all locations except for remote areas in Western Australia. Post’s new Queensland Customer Contact Centre won the Australian Teleservices Association’s greenfields award. Post’s New South Wales centre won a Teleperformance Australia Grand Prix service award.
