Changes to the Australia Post SMSF Gateway Service
Changes to the Australia Post SMSF Gateway Service
From 30 November 2025, we will no longer offer subscriptions to the Self-Managed Super Fund Gateway Service.
If you’re a subscriber, you can continue accessing the service until your subscription expires. We recommend you arrange an alternative messaging service and download all required SMSF data prior to your subscription expiry date.
If you have any questions, please email superannuation@auspost.com.au.
What is the Australia Post SMSF gateway service?
The Australia Post self-managed super fund (SMSF) gateway service helps trustees and administrators of SMSFs meet the ATO SuperStream 3.0 data standards.
We are solely a communications and messaging service, and do not offer any superfunds as part of the service subscription. As a digital platform, we only offer online support.
An easy way to comply with ATO data standards
If you're a trustee or administrator of an SMSF, and you're worried about meeting the compulsory government SuperStream data standards, we can help.
Australia Post's SMSF Gateway Service will allow you to receive messages in a way that:
- meets SuperStream 3.0 data standards
- is cost-effective
- is quick and easy to set up
- doesn't require updates to IT systems
The service complies with the SuperStream 3.0 requirements in receiving readable messages from employers and other superannuation funds.
