Alternatively, find your favourite notepaper and grab your favourite pen to begin writing your letter.
Here are some hints on what you might like to include in your letter to an Australian athlete:
- Talk about how excited you are to be writing to an athlete.
- Write about the other Olympic sports you like to watch.
- Write about the other Olympic sports you like to watch.
- Write about what sports you like to play.
- Let them know that you will be watching them on TV while they are competing.
- Ask them what they like most about Beijing.
- Ask them what they miss most about being away from Australia.
- Write some well wishes for their events.
- Ask them about their favourite sporting moment.
- Tell them a bit about yourself (your favourite sport, your family, your pets).
- Ask them who their role model is.
Ask what other sports they used to play as a child.

I have an official Letter Link envelope
That's great. Simply seal your letter inside the envelope. Write your name and address on the back of the envelope and place a 50-cent stamp in the space provided on the front of the envelope. Then your letter will be ready to post!

I have an ordinary, plain envelope
Seal your letter inside the envelope. Write your name and address on the back of the envelope. Place a 50-cent stamp at the top right-hand corner of the front of your envelope. Address your envelope, following the examples below. Then your letter will be ready to post.
