NSW - Sydney Youth Stamp Group Open Day |

The next open day for school-age children aged seven to 17 years old will be held at Philas House in Sydney.
There will be plenty to do, including games, stamp swapping and talks, as well as lots of prizes. Activities will begin at 10.30 a.m. through to 3 p.m. Children should arrive to be registered by 10 a.m. There are separate programs planned for children under 11 years of age and parents are welcome to stay for all or part of the day. The day is FREE and lunch will be provided for children attending but bookings are essential.

ACT - Canberra Stamp Show 2008 |

The Philatelic Society of Canberra is to hold a national stamp exhibition. The exhibition includes over 5,000 pages of stamp exhibits from around the world. There will be 28 national and international stamp dealers, specialist society meetings and children’s activities.
There is a close link between stamp collecting and Scouting, and with 2008 being the 100th anniversary of Scouting in Australia, this will be the theme for the exhibition.
There will be a range of limited edition philatelic items including miniature sheets, booklets and the “Scouting” Postal and Numismatic Cover (PNC) all overprinted with the show logo.
Only 250 numbered copies of the
PNC will be available. There are also two other philatelic items that will only be available through the exhibition supporters’ club.

Hellenic Club, Woden, ACT
Australia Post will be on site and three postmarkers will be available at the event. Imagery using Scouts, Rugby and the Australian Academy of Science Building (ACT) will be used for the temporary postmarkers over the three consecutive days.

QLD - Sunshine Coast Stamp Club |

| The club is in its 28th year and is always on the look-out for new members. This annual stamp fair is to be held at the “Big Pineapple” in Nambour with stamp dealers and 16 Stamp and Philatelic Clubs will attend – buying and selling stamps and coins. Visitors are welcome and entry is FREE. Refreshments will also be available. The event will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information contact the Secretary on (07) 5448 6565. |
NSW - SCDAA Petersham Stamp & Coin Super Fair |

The first show for this year will be held at the Petersham Town Hall, 107 Crystal Street (one block from the railway station). Hours will be 9.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and admission will be $1.00. There will also be 27 interstate and local dealers buying and selling stamps, banknotes, coins, postcards, pins and other collectables.
Free valuations will be available and there are five $50.00 door prizes to be won.
