Sudan
7 June 2023: Australia Post has temporarily suspended all postal services to and from Sudan due to civil unrest.

Madagascar
4 April 2024: Since late March, items sent to and from Madagascar may be delayed due to the effects of Hurricane Gamane.

There are no other current updates for Africa.

Indonesia
20 October 2023: Items sent to Indonesia may experience delays due to the implementation of new customs regulations for imports.

Kazakhstan
16 April 2024: Items sent to and from Kazakhstan may experience delays due to severe weather conditions causing flooding in the region.

There are no other current updates for Asia.

Belgium
22 April 2024: Items sent to and from Belgium may experience delays due to planned strikes in the region.

Greece
1 May 2024: Items sent to and from Greece may experience delays due to a scheduled 24-hour strike across the country.

Norway
7 February 2024: Items sent to and from Norway may experience delays due to sorting center construction work and machine improvements being carried out in the region.

Russia
Australia Post has temporarily suspended all postal services to and from the Russian Federation.

The temporary suspension will remain in place until Australia Post can ensure compliance with all relevant sanctions requirements, and is subject to the availability of transport to and from Russia.

Ukraine
There may be delays to letters and parcels sent to and from the Ukraine due to:

• limited airline capacity
• some postcodes being currently inaccessible
• planned power outages

Israel
26 April 2024: Due to continuing flight cancellations as a result of airspace safety concerns, there may be disruptions to letters and parcels sent to Israel. Contingency plans are in place with carriers to continue delivering; however, we will continue to see ongoing delays.

Peru
31 May 2023: Due to compliance issues with national legislation governing items into Peru, SERPOST is only accepting items transported by air. Sea Mail will be suspended until further notice.
